Data Entry Operator

We are looking for a Data Entry Operator to join our team!
As a Data Entry Operator, you will be responsible for entering specific data into different client databases. You will be responsible for managing data and keeping it organized. Your main goal will be to keep data in order so that it is easily accessible at any time.

Data Entry Operator Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepares, compiles, and sorts documents for data entry.
  • Verifies and logs receipt of data.
  • Transcribes source data into the required electronic format.
  • Transfers information from paper formats into computer files using keyboards, data recorders, or optical scanners.
  • Performs high-volume data entry using word processing, spreadsheet, database, or other computer software.
  • Verifies integrity of data by comparing it to source documents.
  • Reviews data for errors, missing pages, or missing information and resolves any discrepancies.
  • Maintains a filing system and protects confidential customer information.
  • Performs regular backups to ensure data preservation.
  • Responds to requests to retrieve data from the database or electronic filing system.
  • Maintains a satisfactory level of quality and productivity per industry standards.
  • Completes additional assigned tasks as required.

Data Entry Operator Qualifications/Skills:

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask effectively
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy
  • Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to type a minimum of 40 WPM
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Power Point)

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in any stream
  • 1-3 years of experience in data entry or equivalent training

Document Controller

We are looking for a Document Controller to prepare, manage and file documents for our projects. Document Controller responsibilities include typing contracts, archiving files and ensuring all team members have access to necessary documentation. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience reviewing technical documents along with the ability to spot errors. Ultimately, you’ll support our procedures maintaining transparent, up-to-date and easily traceable documents.

Document Controller Job Responsibilities:

  • Review and update technical documents (e.g. manuals and workflows)
  • File documents in physical/digital records and Keep a Log entry
  • Create templates for future use
  • Retrieve/provide files as requested by employees and clients
  • Manage the flow of documentation within the organization as per the client requirement
  • Maintain confidentiality around sensitive information and terms of agreement
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports on projects as needed

Document Controller Qualifications/Skills:

  • Familiarity with project management
  • Skilled user of Adobe and Microsoft Suite
  • Proficient in SharePoint, ProArc and/or other document management software and web-based tools
  • Proficient typing and editing skills
  • Data organization skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Can work independently without much guidance

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as a Document Controller or similar role
  • BSc degree in any stream. Project Management or relevant field is an added advantage
